Leaders are readers, but not all readers are leaders. It all depends on what you're reading.
One of the habits I've started since the beginning of the year was to average one book per month. Here's what I've read since January of this year:
Triggers: Creating Behavior that Lasts - Becoming the Person You Want to Be by Marshall Goldsmith
Co-Active Coaching: Changing Business Transforming Lives by Henry Kimsey-House
Joy in the Journey: Finding Abundance in the Shadow of Death by Steve and Sharon Hayner
Preaching in the Age of Distraction by J. Ellsworth Kalas
Canoeing the Mountains: Christian Leadership in Uncharted Territory by Tod Bolsinger
Strong and Weak: Embracing a Life of Love, Risk, and True Flourishing by Andy Crouch
Conversational Intelligence: How Great Leaders Build Trust and Get Extraordinary Results by Judith E. Glaser
Effective Group Coaching by Jennifer J. Britton
This month I'm reading Judaism in the Beginning of Christianity by Jacob Neusner.
What have you been reading this year?
Engage in a consistent reading plan. Set a goal to read at least one book per month. It will strengthen your impact and influence as a leader.
Be your best.
